Two-Phase Nanofluid Thermal Analysis over a Stretching Infinite Solar Plate Using Keller Box Method (KBM)
In the present study, two-phase nanofluid flow in a three-dimensional system is modeled over a stretching infinite solar plate and the heat transfer analysis is performed for this problem. The governing equations are presented based on previous studies and the suitable solution method is recommended due to infinite boundary condition in the problem. Keller Box Method (KBM) using the Maple 1...
متن کاملMixed Convection Boundary Layer Flow near the Lower Stagnation Point of a Solid Sphere with Newtonian Heating
The steady mixed convection boundary layer flow near the lower stagnation point of a solid sphere, generated by Newtonian heating in which the heat transfer from the surface is proportional to the local surface temperature, is considered in this study. The governing boundary layer equations are first transformed into a system of non-dimensional equations via the non-dimensional variables, and t...
متن کاملMHD Three-Dimensional Stagnation-Point Flow and Heat Transfer of a Nanofluid over a Stretching Sheet
In this study, the three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) boundary layer of stagnation-point flow in a nanofluid was investigated. The Navier–Stokes equations were reduced to a set of nonlinear ordinary differential equations using a similarity transform. The similarity equations were solved for three types of nanoparticles: copper, alumina and titania with water as the base fluid, to inve...
متن کاملUnsteady Reversed Stagnation-Point Flow over a Flat Plate
This paper investigates the nature of the development of two-dimensional laminar flow of an incompressible fluid at the reversed stagnation-point. ”. In this study, we revisit the problem of reversed stagnation-point flow over a flat plate. Proudman and Johnson (1962) first studied the flow and obtained an asymptotic solution by neglecting the viscous terms. This is no true in neglecting the vi...
متن کاملNumerical and Series Solutions for Stagnation-Point Flow of Nanofluid over an Exponentially Stretching Sheet
This investigation is concerned with the stagnation-point flow of nanofluid past an exponentially stretching sheet. The presence of Brownian motion and thermophoretic effects yields a coupled nonlinear boundary-value problem (BVP). Similarity transformations are invoked to reduce the partial differential equations into ordinary ones. Local similarity solutions are obtained by homotopy analysis ...
